LGMA webinars

Your regular updates on the global sustainability agenda

The global climate and sustainability agendas are shaped all year round, and offer many opportunities to engage.

That’s why the LGMA Constituency offers monthly webinars, designed to orient subnational governments on key issues of multilevel governance and the latest developments in global climate negotiations. Here is what they bring to the table:

  • Tailored content: As the LGMA focal point, Yunus Arikan, ICLEI’s Director of Global Advocacy, shares valuable insights and updates to support local governments in engaging in advocacy events throughout the year, as well as preparing for the upcoming COP29.
  • Inclusivity: These discussions also include contributions from LGMA partners and relevant guests, based on the webinars’ agenda.
  • Accessibility: To ensure accessibility for a wider audience, the series is tailored to offer flexibility, with two time options available each month, and complements the LGMA monthly bulletin.
