LGMA partners have climate solutions that work – and the Granary of Solutions is helping to shine a light on them. The platform showcases more than 300 climate initiatives already delivering climate action impact.
The Granary of Solutions is a dynamic, publicly accessible repository of real-world case studies and scalable climate solutions. It highlights practical initiatives delivering results for people, nature and economies, and helps accelerate implementation in line with the Paris Agreement.
Launched by the COP30 Presidency and the Climate High-Level Champions at New York Climate Week in September 2025, the Granary of Solutions bridges the gap between ambition and implementation. By gathering proven initiatives from governments, businesses, communities and civil society, it serves as a “showroom” of what works, encouraging replication and supporting progress towards the Paris Agreement goals and the outcomes of the first Global Stocktake.
The platform is designed to feed into and support the COP30 Action Agenda – the UNFCCC pillar that mobilizes voluntary climate action from civil society, businesses, investors, cities, states and countries. Across six thematic axes and 30 key objectives, the Action Agenda charts a path for action, while the Granary of Solutions offers concrete examples to replicate and adapt.
We are proud to see initiatives led by LGMA partners featured in the Granary of Solutions, adding to a growing body of real-world cases that help boost sustainable climate action. Among them:
- ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability
The Brokering Innovation for Decentralised Climate Finance and Gender Equality (BRIDGE) project in Cameroon shows that the quality of adaptation finance matters as much as the quantity, ensuring that funded action is locally led and gender-responsive. - Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate & Energy (GCoM)
Two solutions linked to its partnership with the City Climate Finance Gap Fund (Gap Fund) support cities in turning sustainable energy and climate action plans into Gap Fund–ready project ideas, including cases from San Miguelito (Panama) and Cambodia. - Regions4 / RegionsAdapt
