Help us show the power of the LGMA Constituency throughout COP30. Add your sessions to our tracker and tell us about planned announcements so we can include them in the LGMA daily mailers.

What we are mapping

We are mapping ICLEI engagement at COP30 to make sure your work appears in our communications. This covers sessions at the LGMA Cities & Regions Hub and any other official or affiliated venue where ICLEI leads or participates.

  • Sessions you lead or co-lead
  • Panels or side events where your team participates
  • Announcements planned at COP30 – for example, publications, partnerships, resources
  • Important moments – for example, a strategic leader joining your session

How to share your updates

  1. Add your sessions to the tracker: Include title, date, time, location, speakers, and a short description.
  2. Flag announcements: If you plan to launch a publication, partnership, or resource at COP30, add it in the announcement tab and provide a relevant image and link for us to include in the daily mailers. Images can be hyperlinked in the tracker or uploaded here. If you need support, reach out to Matteo Bizzotto (matteo.bizzotto@iclei.org) of the LGMA communications team.

Be featured in the LGMA daily recap videos

For those of you physically in Belém, you can be featured in our daily videos, giving an update on what happened on that day at COP relevant to the LGMA and what’s on for the day after – Here’s an example of a daily video at COP29.

FAQs

What are the LGMA daily mailers?

Short daily updates highlighting LGMA and partner activities – sessions, announcements, and resources – distributed during COP30.

What qualifies as an announcement?

Any public reveal planned at COP30 – for example, a new report, partnership, tool, platform, or campaign.

Can I add sessions outside the Cities & Regions Hub?

Yes. Please add any session where ICLEI leads or participates – at the Hub or elsewhere – so we can capture your engagement.

How early in advance should I submit announcements?

Ideally, ASAP. Realistically, a few days before it happens. Latest, the morning (Brazil time) of the day before.
